Little box of Chocolates...

Hi there..T here, and I have a little chocolate project for you. This little project is quick and easy and makes great teacher and friend gifts..or just a little treat for the love of your life, after all it IS the month of Love. :)    I acquired a big box of little unassembled boxes so I am using one of those for my box..but you can use any box you have on hand.  I picked out a nice brown paper to cover my little box and I used pink for embellishing.  I always think of pink and brown when I think "Chocolate".  But use your stash on hand and use up some of your left over scraps.
Here I have measured and cut pieces to fit each of the sides of my box and one piece for the inside bottom.  I decided I wanted a ribbon closure, so I am using CTMH photo hangers on the top and front panel held on with little brads.   Next I cut 9 flowers out of both brown and pink cardstock and matching designer paper with the large Paper Shaper flower punch.  You will need 3 or 4 layers for each flower depending on how full you would like them.  I will be using Janna's style of flower making so I will send you over to her video so you can see her in action:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VmgmRkZqRy0

And here we are with my 3 flowers which I have misted with some brown and shimmer glimmer mist. I then glued all the layers together with some Glass Effects (CTMH)  I find this quickly holds small pieces and dries perfectly clear.
Using my Nesties I have cut out an image from a piece of My Mind's Eye DP using a label nestie. I used a matching pink piece of cardstock to cut out and emboss the medium Fleur De Lis nestie(http://tinyurl.com/89tv2ef ) to layer behind my image. Next distress the edges a bit with some Tim Holtz ink ( I use vintage photo for about everything)
And here we go...I assembled and glued everything on top of my little box, added a little ribbon and all done..quick and easy little treasure!  Now all I need is a few chocolates to fill it up..yumm!
Now its your turn..cant wait to see what YOU come up with.
Hugs,T
