Please note that every challenge in this blog can be entered with any form of art work, not just cards. Themes may have to be slighly altered, but as long as they represent the general idea, feel free to enter.
As 2014 comes to a close, we wish to say some special thank yous. We are a very small but talented challenge group and working at making our challenge blog grow. Most everyone likes a challenge, so we decided to do two challenges
each month and they would include a drawing for a prize. This meant finding
sponsors. Pat, who did all the leg oops finger work getting sponsors, did a
wonderful job.
"This month's challenge is about reminiscing. We have all made cards, scrapbook pages and other crafting items. This isn’t just about paper crafting, anything project you have made.
The challenge is to pick your favorite crafted item that you made and post a picture of it along with why it’s your favorite. If you posted about your item, then feel free to link that post"
Today I get to share with you my favorite projects - those I made for my son's wedding. From invitations to favors, menus to boutonnieres, ring pillow to wedding card treasure box, I put a lot of time, sweat and love into each item. The wedding was beach-themed and my now daughter-in-law lived and breathed Pinterest and YouTube. I am blessed that my son married a fellow crafter! One of the wedding gifts I gave her was a Martha Stewart 18x18 Scrapbook with refill pages. She is still filling that puppy up! LOL
After the wedding I scored a shadow box frame on clearance and made a montage of wedding photos and memorabilia.
So, these are my fave projects, the things that mark my fave memories. I hope you have some great memories and some favorite projects to share with SBP Challenge blog this month.
Today is December 1st, the last month of the
year. It’s a month when we gather family together, reminisce and make new
memories.
This challenge is about reminiscing. We have all made cards, scrapbook
pages and other crafting items. This isn’t just about paper crafting,
anything project you have made.
The challenge is to pick your favorite crafted item that
you made and post a picture of it along with why it’s your favorite. If you
posted about your item, then feel free to link that post.
This is my favorite project. Unfortunately I had to go back to 2013 since I don't really have any favorites in 2014.
Why is it my favorite? Its a double layout about my crafting to go into an album about me. I made each item pictured, except for the baby, who is my grandson. By the way, that baby is now 15 years old and 6 ft. 4 1/2 inches tall.
There is no prize for this challenge. We will however, still pick a "winner" and post that winner's name with a link back to her blog.
SPECIAL RULES:
1. You must do a current post about your favorite project of all your 2014 projects.
2. Your current post should be about WHY its your favorite project.
3. You must post a picture your favorite project.
4. Closing time is midnite December 31st.
Best of luck everyone!
