Thanksgiving is finally upon us

Absolutely my favorite time of the year. Why? One whole day of spending it with my family and getting to chow down on some lovingly-cooked meals.

Just as the first Pilgrims were thankful for that great bounty, so are we thankful for many things. For every problem that you have, you have so many other things to be thankful for.

Here are ScrapbookPlace, we are thankful for the great friends we have online that share our passion of paper crafting.

Here is a page from my 6"x6" calendar pages I made for gifts for Christmas. I thought the sentiment expressed it so well - "May the bounty of the season fill your hearts and home." I just had to use it!!!

Here's what I used to make this page: Cardstock by CTMH, Shabby Princess Spicy Circles and Harvest Blooms by Bo Bunny Press, Orange cardstock by DCWV, Nature's Treasure paper by CTMH, Versamark, Moss Adirondack embossing powder by Ranger, Copper Stickles, Cocoa Exclusive Inks by CTMh, C1419 Harvest Home/D1110 Give Thanks/D1312 November Word Puzzle My Acrylix stamp sets by CTMH, Pearl stickers by Recollection, Champagne pearls by Kaiser Scrapbook, Tuxedo Black ink by Momento, 1.5" circle punch, 2" Scallop punch and Copics - YG99, YG97, YR04, YR68, YR18, YR07, YR09.

Thanks for making your way over to our blog. And remember to thank all of those special people in your life and let them know how much your care.

I hope everyone has a safe and happy Thanksgiving!
Melissa

PS. We are going to try and have the 25 day countdown to Christmas day, where we showcase a project each day starting December 1. Check back!!!

PLEATING - THE ALL NEW FUN PROJECT!

Karen Gumino made this lovely ornament.  One could switch it into a card, package decoration, layout embellishment, many many possibilities.  With the creation of this ornament, she also won a prize at Squigglefly!  So click on the links and check out Karen's blog and the Squigglefly blog also.

"From Karen's Blog:  "Christmas is right around the corner, and I found some great digi stamps at Squigglefly to get in the spirit which made this week's Squigglefly challenge SFC 123 - No Patterned Paper a no-brainer for me.  I've been wanting to try this technique, and this was the perfect opportunity to try it because of all the great digi downloads I found at Squigglefly, and it is a project great with plain or patterned paper.  There are many circular-type digis like this one at the Squigglefly Store, so you'll have lots of fun picking out different ones and making an array of ornaments or wall hangings or whatever your mind can conjure up."

Take time to leave us a bit of love (comment) and also become a follower!
